"My husband and I hired Dana as well and she was wonderful! Without hesitation I would recommend her to anyone visiting Prague. We even ended up hiring her for a second day because she was so knowledgeable.": teacher010, New York, USA www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g274684-i94-k2556261-Tour_Guide-Czech_Republic.html

"While in Prague, my husband and I hired Dana Chaloupka as a guide. Dana very very knowledgable and a delight to be around. David and I didn't want the day to end. She also introduced us to a charming restaurant, U Vladare.": Susan, Palm Springs, USA www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g274684-i94-k2556261-Tour_Guide-Czech_Republic.html

"I have hired DANA CHALOUPKA who was recommended by people on Journeywoman.com. So far she has worked tirelessly to set up an unusual itinerary for me so I am pleased so far. She offers a beer hall tour.": TallulahB, New York, USA www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g274707-i96-k1440949-Tour_Guide-Prague_Bohemia.html

"She can also tailor the tour to your interests. My brother is a firefighter and asked me to visit the Prague fire station. Dana managed to arrange (through back channels) a visit for me and I got lots of T-shirts, patches and hats for my brother from the Prague Central Fire Station." TallulahB, New York, USA https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g274707-i96-k1923229-Great_Hotel_in_very_central_location_of_Prague-Prague_Bohemia.html

"My husband and I recently visited Prague. Since neither of us knew one word of Czech, we were concerned about the language barrier. We learned of a guide called Dana Chaloupka from an online message board and emailed her about our pending visit. She responded with a broad range of itineraries and prices. Dana spent time in the United States and speaks English very well. She knows her history and all the sights of Prague and patiently showed and taught us about her city. We also traveled by train to a small town outside Prague (Uvaly), where she grew up. We visited her family home and her neighbor, and we went into several shops, getting a glimpse of normal life in a small Czech village. She was a wonderful guide and a very pleasant person. Dana does not work for tour companies -- she hires drivers when needed. We feel her services made all the difference in the world in enjoying this beautiful historic city. We heartily recommend her.": Sherri, Iowa, USA https://www.journeywoman.com/travel101/guides_worldwide.htm

"Last May I went to Prague. I contacted Dana Chaloupka, one of Journeywomen's recommended guides. Not only was she an excellent guide, we have since become friends. She knows both the city, surrounding areas, and the entire country. She would be more than happy to give out advice and tips of where to go and what to do. Her life history is quite fascinating having lived under Communism and now freedom. She is quick to respond to emails.": Peggy, Atlanta, USA https://www.journeywoman.com/gfc/PragueJourneywomansPointofView2007-2.htm

"I highly recommend our tour guide, Dana Chaloupka. She wonderfully managed our small group (20, 51 and 82 yrs) over two days to make sure we saw the sights, learned about her city, took a break for sunday mass and ate very well. It was as if we had a friend in Prague, as she even called one evening to tell us to walk over to the bridge and watch the fireworks. She knows every inch of her city, and fills walking time with information about history, architecture and hints for shopping and eating. She was so kind and interesting, we only wish she had more cities on her itinerary! "We spent a week in Prague last October. Husband at a conference so I hired a guide which I actually found on Trip Advisor last year from recommendations here. Her name is Dana (Dan-a)Chaloupka; she is great! She has set costs for the usual things folks want to see, but she is also adventursome and very flexible. She took me outside the city to tour a glass factory and to Karlstein Castle. There were just the 2 of us that day. She is very knowlegable & professional but I felt as if I were with a friend. I couldn't afford the usual car trip costs, so she arranged the trip by bus; train - much more fun anyway! Look her up. You won't be disappointed": Wick, London, Ontario, Canada https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g274707-i96-k1633077-Personal_Tour_Guides-Prague_Bohemia.html
